God knows us. He knows every depth of our faults and he knows our hearts. He not only sees when we sin but he sees when we act in goodness. There are times I've seen people do things that are increadibly kind for others and not think anything of it. They just go on with their lives and don't congratulate themselves because doing the right thing is simply what we are supposed to do. Then there are people who seem to need the world to know when they've made any effort that could be considered positive. Jesus said not to let one hand know when the other does a good deed. I'm guessing we've all acted in both ways. It's my prayer that my heart is filled with good and that God will see that. I also pray that for my fellow music ministers. Why we sing is as important as what we sing. If we put our congregations needs above our own then rest assured God will honor our ministries.
I'm hoping those "pro choice" catholics are in church this weekend. These are great songs to witness the truth about life in the womb.
God Bless.
