If you're looking for the Seventh Sunday of Easter you've found it.
This stuff has always confused me and what's more, every time we have choices between readings I am slapped in the face with the reality that I simply don't communicate with my priest like I should. Before you choose your psalm for this Sunday, make sure of what your parish is doing so you have the correct response/psalm.
I guess I never really thought much about Jn 17 until I read it tonight. I didn't realize how Jesus prayed to God for our safety. In Psalm 103 it says "so surpassing is his kindness toward those who fear him." This psalm implores us to do God's will and know that he will be kind toward us. "As far as the east is from the west, so far has he put our transgressions from us." Wow! It's right there. God forgives those who ask and do his will!
